Where can you watch the Scary Movie films for free?

If you can’t wait to get started, you can get a jump on your Scary Movie marathon with the first three installments of the series, which are all streaming free (with ads) right now. And then, beginning June 1, both Scary Movie 4 and Scary Movie 5 will be added to the lineup on Pluto TV, making this platform the official free streaming home of the entire series.

If you would rather watch the Scary Movie series ad-free, you can purchase them individually or in bundles on both Apple TV as well as Fandango at Home and Amazon Prime Video.

When will Scary Movie 6 be available to stream at home?

It will be a few months, at least

Though comedies often have shorter theatrical windows than other types of movies, if you don’t want to leave home to watch Scary Movie 6, you might be waiting awhile. Since this is a big release for Miramax (as well as parent company Paramount) I would expect this film to get its full 45-day theatrical exclusivity window, regardless of box office performance. That would mean that August would likely be the earliest that those who would like to purchase this film on VOD platforms. A Paramount+ release for subscribers will then follow this fall, right in time for those who want to celebrate the holidays with the latest entry in this series.

If you’re really patient, this film will also make it to Paramount-owned Pluto TV for free eventually, but given how long it has taken other new releases to make it to this platform, I wouldn’t expect that to happen until 2028 at the earliest.
