The best superhero movie of the 21st century is now streaming free on Tubi

I recently asked Pocket-lint staff what, in their opinion, was the best comic book movie of all time, and within moments, staff writer Craig Donaldson replied with The Dark Knight.

Though other options were floated, including Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ghost World and even Josie and the Pussycats, it’s hard to argue with Craig’s initial pick, and recently The New York Times ranked The Dark Knight as the 28th best film of the 21st century, making it the highest ranking superhero movie on the list, easily beating out Black Panther, which was ranked at 96 (the only other superhero movie on the list).

Though The Dark Knight stands on its own, it is actually part of a trilogy of Batman films from director Christopher Nolan, which started with 2005’s Batman Begins, and concluded with 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises.
