AI Music Floods Deezer: Artificial Tracks Now Claim 44% Of Daily Uploads

The streaming platform Deezer has released data indicating that music generated by artificial intelligence now accounts for approximately 44% of all daily uploads. This figure represents a significant acceleration in the volume of AI-generated content entering the digital music market, highlighting a transformative shift in how content is produced and distributed.

Despite the massive influx of AI tracks—averaging roughly 75,000 new uploads per day—actual listener engagement remains disproportionately low. Statistics show that these tracks currently represent only 1% to 3% of total streams. This gap suggests that while generative tools like Suno and Udio have made it easier to saturate the market with automated music, these tracks have yet to capture a meaningful share of the listening audience’s attention.

Platform Response and Demonetization

To protect the integrity of its ecosystem and ensure fair compensation for human creators, Deezer has implemented strict measures regarding AI content. The platform actively removes AI-generated tracks from its recommendation algorithms and editorial playlists. Furthermore, Deezer has adopted a policy of demonetizing these tracks. This strategy is designed to prevent “streaming fraud,” where bad actors utilize bots to play AI music and siphon royalties away from legitimate artists.

Market Saturation and Rapid Growth

The rise of AI content on the platform has been remarkably swift. Deezer reported that AI-generated uploads grew from 28% in 2025 to over 40% by early 2026. Deezer remains one of the few major streaming services to explicitly label and track AI-produced content, providing transparency in a market increasingly crowded by automated output.

Earlier this year, the company executed a mass demonetization campaign after identifying a high concentration of AI music linked to fraudulent revenue schemes.
