AOC Launches 24G4ZR And 27G4ZR Fast IPS Gaming Monitors With 260Hz Refresh And Entry-Level Esports Pricing

AGON by AOC has introduced two new gaming monitors designed to bring high-refresh competitive performance to the entry-level segment. The AOC GAMING 24G4ZR (23.8-inch) and 27G4ZR (27-inch) feature Fast IPS panels with a native 240 Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 260 Hz, along with up to 1 ms GtG response time and 0.3 ms MPRT.

Both models deliver Full-HD resolution and are aimed at players seeking esports-style performance at more accessible price points. Simplified tilt-only versions, the 24G4ZRE and 27G4ZRE, are also planned for release.

Historically, monitors with 260 Hz refresh rates and sub-millisecond response times were limited to premium esports displays. These new models bring that level of performance to more affordable systems, targeting competitive titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, and Rainbow Six Siege.

Adaptive-Sync support and official NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility help reduce screen tearing, while MBR Sync allows simultaneous variable refresh rate and backlight strobing for clearer motion across a 48–260 Hz range.

Both monitors use Fast IPS technology to balance speed with color accuracy and wide viewing angles. The 27-inch version offers up to 121.5% sRGB coverage, while the 23.8-inch model reaches 111.7% sRGB. Brightness is rated at 300 nits, and viewing angles extend to 178° horizontally and vertically.

Ergonomic stands provide height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot capabilities, while the compact base design leaves more desk space for peripherals. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. Eye-comfort features such as flicker-free technology and hardware low-blue-light modes support extended gaming sessions.

The monitors are scheduled to launch in February 2026. U.K. MSRPs convert approximately to 24G4ZR £129 (~$175), 24G4ZRE £109 (~$148), 27G4ZR £149 (~$202), and 27G4ZRE £129 (~$175). We still have no official word on a release for the U.S.
