Asus’ ROG Xbox Ally X20 is official, and it’s everything I hoped it would be

The ROG Xbox Ally X20 looks visually distinct from the standard Xbox Ally X, too, with a translucent black chassis, gold accenting throughout, and a 20th Anniversary badge featured on the rear of the unit.

It appears that — at least at launch — the X20 will be available exclusively in the form of a bundled offering, with a pair of 20th anniversary ROG XREAL R1 augmented reality (AR) glasses included right in the box.

There’s currently no word on the exact pricing or availability of this ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle, though you can sign up to be notified with updates by visiting the company’s official website and selecting the Notify Me option.

Asus is going all out in celebration of its gaming sub-brand

In addition to announcing its high-profile ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle, Asus is celebrating the 20-year anniversary of its ROG gaming sub-brand by launching a flurry of other new limited-time products, peripherals, and accessories.

Among these special ‘edition 20’ hardware offerings are the ROG Slash Hard Case Luggage and backpack, the ROG Harpe II Extreme 20 mouse, the ROG Azoth Extreme keyboard, the ROG Destrier chair, and the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card.

Each ‘edition 20’ product shares a gold-accented motif with 20th anniversary insignia and other design details sprinkled throughout, making for a unique set of gadgets that collectively celebrate the ROG brand at large.
