Xiaomi has officially expanded its smart home portfolio with the international release of the H50 Pro, a high-performance robot vacuum designed to address common cleaning gaps. Initially launched in select European markets and Australia, the H50 Pro introduces several hardware refinements aimed at increasing autonomy and deep-cleaning efficiency.

The standout feature of the H50 Pro is its industry-leading suction power of 15,000 Pa, allowing it to lift heavy debris and fine dust from various floor types. To combat a frequent issue with automated cleaners—missed corners and baseboards—Xiaomi has equipped the unit with extensible mechanical arms. These arms allow the rotating mops to extend beyond the vacuum’s chassis, ensuring edge-to-edge coverage that standard circular robots often fail to reach.

The device utilizes integrated laser sensors with a 129-degree field of view for precise navigation and obstacle avoidance. Additionally, the dual rotating mops feature an intelligent lift mechanism, automatically raising when the sensors detect carpets to prevent dampening fabric surfaces.

All-in-One Maintenance Station

The H50 Pro is paired with a multifunctional docking station designed to minimize manual intervention. Key features of the base include:

• Self-Cleaning Mops: The station washes the mop pads and dries them using hot air to prevent odors and bacterial growth.

• Dust Collection: An internal high-capacity tank can store vacuumed debris for up to 75 days.

• Anti-Tangle Technology: The main brush is designed to prevent hair wrap, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

Connectivity and Pricing

True to the Xiaomi ecosystem, the H50 Pro integrates seamlessly with the Xiaomi Home app and supports voice commands via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The vacuum is currently priced at approximately €980 (~$1,146) in European markets. While Xiaomi has recently updated its domestic appliance line with new heaters and kettles, the company has not yet confirmed a release date for the H50 Pro in other global regions, such as the Americas.
