The TCL Thunderbird 27Q6A Pro, launched under the FFALCON sub-brand, represents a significant shift in the high-performance monitor market for 2026. By combining professional-grade color accuracy with extreme refresh rates, TCL aims to capture both the competitive gaming and content creation segments.

The monitor features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a 2K QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). To enhance visual depth, TCL utilizes Mini LED backlighting with 180 local dimming zones, allowing for precise contrast management. The display reaches a peak brightness of 800 nits and carries DisplayHDR 600 certification. For color-critical work, it offers 95% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB coverage, maintaining a factory-calibrated color accuracy of Delta E<2.

Designed for the eSports market, the 27Q6A Pro provides a 320 Hz refresh rate and a 1ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response rate. It is fully compatible with both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium to eliminate screen tearing. A unique software feature allows users to toggle a “24.5-inch mode,” which shrinks the active display area to match the standard size used in professional gaming tournaments, facilitating better focus during competitive play.
