It’s officially the week of CES 2026 , which traditionally means a wave of new TVs is about to be announced from just about every TV manufacturer on the planet. Amazon, known for its Fire TVs, is joining in on the fun early, and alongside announcing a completely redesigned Fire TV user interface coming in February, the company has also unveiled an all-new smart TV design.
Amazon’s new Fire TV, called the Amazon Ember Artline, is an art-focused TV series with a matte screen designed to display art and photos with reduced glare. The Ember Artline will come in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes and features a 4K QLED panel, along with support for many of the smart TV features people have come to expect, such as Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Wi-Fi 6.
Similar to Samsung’s The Frame and LG’s recently announced Gallery TV, the Amazon Ember Artline has an ultra-thin design that makes it look more like an art piece in any space, measuring only 1.5 inches thick.
The Amazon Ember Artline will be available this spring, launching in the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK, starting at $900.
The Amazon Ember Artline has 10 different frame options
Amazon Photos offers more than 2,000 free art pieces to display on the TV
One of the standout features of Amazon’s new Ember Artline is its adjustable magnetic frame, which makes swapping frame colors to better match a room quick and easy. At launch, Amazon will offer 10 frame colors: Walnut, Ash, Teak, Black Oak, Matte White, Midnight Blue, Fig, Pale Gold, Graphite, and Silver. When the TV arrives this spring, you’ll be able to choose one frame color to include with it.
And because it’s 2026, the Ember Artline comes packed with AI features. It supports Alexa+, letting you find content and control the TV more naturally just by talking to Alexa. It also includes Omnisense Technology, which automatically turns the TV’s Ambient Experience on or off based on whether it detects people entering or leaving the room.
Since this is an art-focused TV, Amazon Photos is fully integrated. You can display more than 2,000 pieces of art for free, along with your own photos. Amazon has also added a new AI-powered feature that lets you take four photos of the room where you plan to hang the TV, then suggests artwork to display on it that matches your room’s overall aesthetic.
The Amazon Ember Artline reminds me a lot of Samsung’s Frame TV, but at a lower price ($900 for the 55-inch Ember Artline versus $1,500 for the 55-inch The Frame) and with many of the same features, such as interchangeable magnetic frames, which I think will make the TV more intriguing to people who want to fine-tune it to their space. The Ember Artline launches this spring, starting at $900 for the 55-inch model, with a 65-inch version also available. Amazon’s recently announced Fire TV UI redesign, which starts rolling out in February on select Fire TV devices, will also be available on the TV when it launches in the spring in the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK.
