OnePlus confirms the OnePlus 15 will go global on November 13

The OnePlus 15 made its debut in China earlier this week, and since then, the question on many people’s minds has been when it will launch globally. Luckily, OnePlus didn’t keep us waiting long for the answer.

OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus 15 will launch globally on November 13. On the same day, OnePlus will be streaming a launch event on its YouTube channel, revealing all the details about the phone, including its price, specs, and availability.

While the OnePlus 15 has already launched in China, and we know its specs there, the global version could have a couple of differences, such as storage and RAM configurations, and the battery size.

What we know will be the same as the OnePlus 15 in China are the available color options: the phone will be available in the US and Canada in ultraviolet, infinite black, and sand storm, and it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

For OnePlus fans eager to get their hands on the OnePlus 15 as soon as possible, the company is already offering a $50 discount in the US and Canada for those who subscribe to receive notifications about the latest updates for the phone. Subscribers will also be entered into a contest for a chance to win a OnePlus Pad 3 for free.

It’s also worth noting that while OnePlus is launching the phone globally on November 13, you might not be able to buy it that day in the US, as the company notes on its website that its “open sale date in the US is subject to change.” However, there is no notice about this on the Canadian site.

Looking at the device itself, the OnePlus 15 marks a design shift from previous flagship models. It features a square camera island, similar to the iPhone, replacing the large circular island that has been characteristic of OnePlus flagships since 2019, except for the OnePlus 13s, which was released only in India and China. Additionally, OnePlus has introduced its own camera engine named DetailMax, following the c onclusion of its collaboration with Hasselblad earlier this year.
